MEMBERS/TERMS: 11 members/4 year terms, initially staggered. Members
eligible for one reappointment term. COUNCIL COMPOSITION: 2 individuals
who are members of the Myakka River Coordinating Council; 5 at-large
individuals; and 4 individuals who own property or are legal representative
of a property owner within the Myakka River area, or the Myakka River
Protection area, or adjacent to or contiguous with the Myakka River from
river mile 7.5 to river mile 41.5. Note: This board replaced the Myakka
River Planning Advisory Board.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Must have resided in Sarasota County for a
minimum of two years prior to appointment.
