NOTE: Resolution No. 98-155 established the Integrated Pest Management Advisory Board (effective 6/30/98) and repealed and superseded Resolution Nos. 95-121, 91-135, and 91-092, dissolving the Environmental Pest Management and Mosquito Control District Advisory Boards. All active members of the two boards were appointed to 3 year terms or concurrent terms.
MEMBERS: 9 members as follows: 1 member from each of the following categories: pest control industry, field of education, medical profession, agriculture or nursery industry, environmental organization, pesticide retail sector, and landscape maintenance profession; and 2 members as private citizens not connected with any of the above classifications. NOTE: When advertising fails to produce qualified candidate in preferred classification, the Board of County Commissioners may appoint a private citizen with any background of interest in the area indicated.
TERMS: 3 year terms, initially staggered or concurrent with previous terms. Members are eligible for reappointment for one additional 3 year term only.
