Membership
Information: 14 member tripartite board with: 9 members
representing Sarasota County as follows: 1 citizen actively engaged
in the banking industry; 1 citizen actively engaged in
foundations or
philanthropy; 1 citizen representing a low or moderate
income neighborhood;
1 citizen actively engaged as a not-for-profit provider
of affordable
housing; 1 citizen actively engaged in the real estate
business; 1 citizen
representing the residential home building or remodeling
industry; 1 citizen
who is a member of the Sarasota County Coalition of the
Homeless; 1 citizen
at large; and 1 youth representative.
The remaining 5 members will be appointed from each of
the following
municipalities:
3 representatives from the City of Sarasota;
1 representative from the City of North Port; and 1
representative from
the City of Venice.
Terms: 3 year terms.
